Responsibilities
Todd Young is a key member of the Project Management Team within Frauenshuh where he is responsible for providing project management and construction support services for Frauenshuh’s clients. Todd advises clients regarding value-based decisions at the earliest stages of design to achieve cost effectiveness and life-cycle performance. He oversees project schedules and budgets, coordinates construction activities, ensures compliance with design specifications and acts as a liaison between stakeholders to develop and deliver optimal solutions.
Experience
Todd joined Frauenshuh in 2024. His career has spanned over 40 years with a strong focus on design, construction, healthcare facilities project management and maintenance. He has been a registered architect and certified interior designer in the state of Minnesota since 1994 and spent the beginning of his career as a designer, project architect, project manager and principal in a large local architecture firm.
In 2010 Todd became the Sr. Director of Facility Planning, Design and Construction of a large local health care provider. His original focus was on ambulatory and clinic facilities but later took on a number of hospitals. In this role, Todd was responsible for the development of a team of seven talented Project Managers. Their accomplishments included the design and construction of 14 new clinics and numerous remodels that included Hospitals, primary care, eye, dental, and behavioral health. This included a state of the art $75 million Neuroscience Center in Downtown St. Paul. In this role Todd was also responsible for internal department and external construction project budgets/schedules, site acquisition, feasibility studies for new locations, RFP selection, management of architectural, construction and engineering teams, and on-site construction management.
